What mics would you use?

From my meager but growing mic collection and inexperienced mind, this is what I use.

1. Male vocals-NT1000, SP B1, MK319, KSM32, SM86, SM58
2. Female vocals-NT1000, KSM32, SM86
3. Acoustic guitar-MXL603's, MK012's, SP B1, KSM32, NT1000
4. Guitar amp-SM58 w/Ball removed, KSM32
5. Guitar amp at distant-SP B1
5. bass cab-havent done it, I go direct
6. Overhead drums-MXL603's, MK012's, SP B1
7. Kick, at beater-Don't have a good BD mic, been using KSM32
8. Kick, at soundhole or just outside- see #7
9. Snare, top- SM58
10. Snare, bottom-SM58
11. Toms, if miked spearately-SM58. SM86
12. Cymbals & hi-hat, if miked spearately.-SM86, NT1000
13. Piano-MXL603's, NT1000
14. Rap & spoken word- NT1000, MK319
15. Room mic, for drums & other appl.-NT1000, KSM32

I recorded a bass cab this weekend & I said I'd report back so here goes: I used a 57 about 6 in off the grill and a 4033 about 18" off & down near the floor. The SPL crapped out the 57 in a few spots (the amp was LOUD!), but other than that worked well. The 4033 was too harsh up close, but sounded good when I backed it off & moved it away from the tweeter. Why these mics? It's what I had available after miking the gtr & drums.
