Ok guys and gals, I must make a confession. When I started this long ass journey in to sound, I thought the hard metal music would be the toughest to record. Boy was I wrong. Well I also have another project... Slower... more melodic... P-Nebulux. We have a bit cleaner mellower vibe here which i must confess was harder to dial in than the metal mix. Tell me what you think.

P.S. Don't make fun of the solo cause Im not that great at lead... yet...

Come on folks, I need a little critisizm so I can work on a few techniques before we attemp to lay this album down for real.

There's some HUGE hiss going on...you might wanna' work on that.

The mix is really heavy in the low mids...put it in your car and turn up the bass and turn it up and it'll woof out. You need to hack out some of the "warmth" from the mix. The vocal will pop thru a lot better too.

Nice performances all around, I think. Vocals are really nice. Just needs some major EQ work.

Yeah, so much of it's in the low mids that there's no room for any thump in the mix at the end of the tune.

Have fun man. :D

I think the hiss is from the cheezy sound blaster audigy microphone input. I just bought a tascam US-122. I am going to do some testing tonight. I'll post a new mix later and see what you think.
