What makes Biden so good?

Some are a bit zealous :D

As to the student loan relief......eh, may be good for some, but we’ll all pay for it in the end.

But what about those that worked hard and actually PAIID OFF their student loans.

They get a rebate??
I don’t think so.
I am one of them that paid off their student loans and I have no problem with it. I paid my third semester out of pocket.

That money will just go back into the economy,, it is all just a shell game.

Just because everyone can’t get nice things doesn’t mean many people shouldn’t get nice things.

Plus, college is far, far more expensive than it used to be. The government stopped investing in education. You could say the people who paid off their loans got a better deal because the government helped them out at that time.

Anyone wanna hear funny work story?

So I was supposed to train for a brand new show the past week and the person who trained me called out so I had to do the shows without training. Thankfully the director was experienced so the shows were clean.

BUT on my days off another producer had to take over that show for two days with the least experienced director, and it was an utter shot show from what I’ve heard and read in the quality reports.

Just so many things wrong. Mics clipping, mics being coded wrong. Apparently there was a shot of both anchors’ shoulders while they were reading a news story. Or there was a shot on one anchor not reading the story while another anchor was reading it. OR there was a completely wrong image pulled up in a story. Like a story about a guy that set a car on fire and it showed Gov. Bill Lee in the mug shot 😂 indicating he set the car on fire. And then the next story was how Lee was visiting a county that day. Lmao

Well you’ll be a recipient of Biden’s generosity, so just be thankful and count your blessings.

Good for you.

And realize my post had nothing to do with you at all, just a general statement.

Back to what makes Biden so good.

My serious answer to that question is this.....
Absolutely NOTHING.

He’s just a tool, a puppet, incapable of being any kind of leader of the country called the United States.

He’s more a pawn of the world Economic Forum, the World Health Organization and the United Nations.

He’s more interested in carrying out their agendas, rather than taking care of the good old USA.

Anyone who thinks this muttering, geriatric, Alzheimer’s ridden old fool makes a good president has lost their fucking marbles.

Guy can’t even put on his jacket without Jill’s help.

The ONLY thing Biden is good at is destroying the United States.

Bravo Joe. Good job

C'mon man... (aviators firmly in place)...
What about the fuckin' chip bill FFS?

Why do you think it won't?
I don’t think 52.7 billion is enough to return chip manufacturing to the US.
Currently the majority is outsourced. Even if the bill gets something going, you still have the issue of having to pay American worker wages which is substantially higher than offshore manufacturing.

A lot of industries, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Too much profit would be lost returning manufacturing to the US..... Or the products would be insanely priced. Like a few grand or more for an iPhone.

Corporations have gotten very addicted to cheap foreign labor.

Well then, I think this could be resolved by a worldwide living wage. I know, just a utopian pipe dream but it is really the only way to address the situation. Maybe a workers world wide union could remedy that but then again that would be socialism and we know how much Americans hate socialism and we can't have any of that.

Yes, I had the same thought about wages.
My next thought was robotics, but there go the jobs except for robotics maintenance and engineering staff.

Good point about robotics.
Now never having any contact with that kind of money I may be very uninformed, but it’s my belief that the billions the bill would provide wouldn't even be enough to get one modern state of the art plant up and running.
Not to mention staffing, training, etc.
I doubt there’s many people in the states that know how to make chips.

Then there’s the issue of regulations. It’s very appealing to companies to outsource to ‘regulation free’ countries.

So, no I don’t think that bill is going to do shit, except line the pockets of high level tech people. But it may be very effective in paying back some well heeled donors. ;)

Whoaaaa Nellie!
It is completely fair to say, when you have to go back to college again just to get a decent job, and you're left stuck with a loan.
I take it that maybe you never went to college yourself.

It depends on what you value. I believe there is something of value in attending college other than a specific goal of future employment. However, if you have to go back to college just to get a decent job, before you sign on the dotted line to financing the endeavor you should factor in a monetary value. It's a very important lesson and part of the whole learning process thing, I would think. There is also a lesson to be learned about things like ethics, and integrity. At one time a handshake sealed the deal to a man's word. Now a signature isnt worth the ink on the paper? People who don't like to be lied to or cheated should not lie and cheat. Pretty simple, really.

Fortunately I had a little help with tuition, it was many years ago when things weren't quite as expensive. I also worked, a lot. So much so that I was actually able to at times save money. I have to admit, work was a distraction and my grades suffered at least once semester. I made it through with no debt and money in my bank account. I needed it, rent was pretty cheap in the shit hole where I lived, but much more expensive once I made my next move.

I think the plan is universal basic income until they figure out what to do with all the ‘useless’ obsolete humans.

You could just be a carpenter, plumber, electrician etc, make a decent wage and not have to worry about them being outsourced. At least until A.I. reaches a
certain level then intertwined with robotics to take your job. When that happens the rich won't need us anymore and they have the viruses ready to kill 95% of us
while they are the only ones with the cure. I could easily see that happening, even thought of writing a book about it but I am just to damned lazy to write. I myself
was a CNC programmer/class A machinist, the only thing that saved me over the years was I was at the top of my game and was always in demand. Even more so
now, there aren't many of us left anymore. They are spewing out kids from industrial machine technology schools who are pretty good on the computers but when they
get out on the machines in the real world and have to hold plus or minus .0025 of an inch all day long, many of them wash out. It is fairly easy to draw pictures and program
tool paths on a computer but unless you can translate that to the shop floor and do it, you are what we in the trade call a cartoonist.
