What Kind Of Floor?

I'm sorry if this question has been answered 1000 times on this board but I haven't been able to find the answer anywhere.

Anyway, what kind of floor is best suited for building a recording studio in my basement?

it also will depend on the amount of isolation you need between your basement and the rest of the world; upstairs family, cranky old lady with excellent hearing next door, etc... Steve
