What is the best electric keyboard I can get for under $650 USD

What i need is 88 keys, good piano sampling, and good keyboard feel. I don't need speakers on it. What is the best one I can get?
I've tried this one by Korg SP-100 and I really like it

Got any suggestions?

Also I have another question, where would be the cheapest place to buy electric pianos in Canada? is it cheaper buying it online?

Thanks guys.

You've Gotta Dance with me Henry Low:]

I have a Korg SP100; it's a nice keyboard; I use it as a second keyboard in my studio.

If you can get one for 650 pezzutos, get it. I paid a little more for mine about seven months ago.

There are other Stage Pianos of the Electric nature; you would have to audition them because I've not played any others.

:D  :p

88 keys is tough to get for that price...
maybe something used...

Yo Skyline of 609::

Vendors have tons of gear sitting. If one calls the 800 numbers and makes an offer, it might be accepted.

I love to haggle.

If you like vintage, try some pawn shops. The ones in my area have some pretty cool looking keyboards, and can't move them. I imagine that serious offers wouldn't be turned down.

used Roland Or older korgs

You can try an older roland
like the JX-10, I use to have but I sold it (Dumb ass me)
Also i saw a Roland XP-50 at a pawn shop for 550.00
Thats a really good deal. :)

Yeah, just go to pawn shops, or maybe even Garage sales

A buddy of mine went to a few garage sales and got a mint condition Fender Jazz bass for $100.00 Also he got a some vintage mid 70's korg keyboard for 200.00. And its actually worth about 1200.00. But the owners of the keys didnt know that.

So basically look eveywhere. Good hunting

Thanks guys, for the help, actually i don't really care much about the sound quality since I am just going to hook it to my midi port on my computer and I have some really good high quality piano soundfonts. I have some Yamaha C7 fonts and some Kawai concert grand soundfonts that sound really realistic.

mostly I am just looking for a fullsize keyboard with good feel.

If you simply want a controller (and you don't care about it having onboard sounds) then there are a LOT of options for you within that price range! Studiologic (Fatar) makes several 88-key controllers (the SL880, 990 and 1100) ALL for $600 or under at www.musiciansfriend.com Roland makes a 76-note controller (the A-37 for well within your price range). I think that Yamaha may have some controllers that may fit in that range. Since you don't need sounds onboard just get a controller. If you later need to get some hardware sounds, you can pick up a module, rather than a full keyboard. The module option usually works out cheaper and gives you more sounds and greater expandability, since modules usually have more expansion slots than their corresponding keyboards.

The SL990 is a MIDI controller - it makes no sounds of its own. You need to buy some kind of MIDI module that actually generates sounds.

i'll hook it up to my computer
I meant keyboard feelwise

Keyboard feel is a very personal thing. After narrowing down your choice to a few keyboards or controllers, I suggest to then go to a local music store and feel 'em for yourself.

Hey LOW:

I think you're HIGH.

[maybe on SAKI?]
