What does everbody use for a bass Pre amp?

Dan (I forget his last name) did a review of the A-Designs MP-1 here: http://www.digitalprosound.com/2003/03_mar/reviews/adesigns_mp1.htm

Says that out of 30 preamps, that Mp-1 won for best bass DI box.

I used an A Designs MP-2 to track bass last night through a TFpro Edward the Compressor. I thought, "Man, this Edward the Compressor is making it fat." I looked over and it was bypassed. It was super fat after I got the Edward the Compressor turned on but you get the idea. Supposedly, the A Designs REDDI will be even better as a bass DI.

The RNP does a fine job on bass. Nice and punchy and clean.
