Hello All,
This is my first post but i have been around and want to thank you all for such a informative forum!! Learned a ton!
I have attached a file that includes picture of the room with treatment and 3 sets of response graphs with monitors located in three different positions away from the front wall. I know that most of the time it is not recommended to position monitors too close to the front wall but in my case I think it is the best location. Bass sounds cleaner and more pronounce right at the wall and drops off significantly when away from the wall.
I know that graphs seem to be a bit all over the place under 1k. My question is, what do you suggest looking at these and what else i could do to improve it?
I also have JBL MSC1. I ran it in all three speaker positions but only got the correction at -3 db at 179, -2.9 db at 258 and -2.1 at 326. (Fuzz test was done with MSC1's RMC off). It seems to be a disconnect between fuzz measure and MSC.
Any comment or suggestions would be really great!!
Room - Dynaudio BM15’s, Bryston 4B-ST with Dow Corning 703 2” and 4” in the corners
Room facts:
22’ by 12’ room
left and front walls are padded drywall and solid concrete foundation (basement)
right and rear walls standard 2x4 and drywall construction with adjacent rooms
ceiling is drop down with another 16” above that to the drywall
floors are carpet over concrete slab
corners treated with 4” dow corning panels (floor up to drop ceiling)
Thanks
