BSOD = blue screen of death.

Its the blue screen that pops up with white text before the computer shuts off. If you are running Windows XP, chances are it just flashes before the computer shuts down / reboots. Got a video camera? You can record the screen flashing and still-frame it... sounds ridiculous, but I had to do it to troubleshoot a problem with a roommate's computer.

Or you could just look in the logs of the event viewer.

or you could disable automatic restarts. then the BSOD will be there until you turn the computer off, lol.

start>control panel>system>advanced>"settings" on startup and recovery>uncheck "automatically restart".

then you can get the stop codes, etc to post or google ftw!

exactly

you will want to note the numbers after the STOP: and the *.sys or *.dll that is causing the problem

I have aproximatly 50% Free space on HardDrive 1. and about 25% Free Space on HD 2.

I'll bet you a dollar it's the video card like I said the first time. The built in video has crappy drivers that are causing the crashes.

Here's the dollar I'm betting :D

Dude it's the video driver! I've seen that exact BSOD a million times.

have you tried moving the delta to a different pci slot?

Agreed with ocnor on it being the video drivers. Would you perchance be using ATI drivers?

I'm using MOBO integraded Video Drivers, Which are nVidia (i beilieve 4 or 6-series)
Mobo's Chipsets are nVidia also.

Most likely a GeForce 6100. They don't have their own memory and must rob 128MB from your system which is causing errors and the BSOD. There is a setting in the bios to adjust the amount of memory that it steals. You can try changing the setting but I doubt that it will do any good. Your best bet is to get a video card with a decent amount of onboard memory [at least 256MB].

Did you notice this in the description? "Video: VIA DeltaChrome Graphics Controller, Shared upto 256MB Memory" That means an even worse onboard video card than you have now.

If I add a nvidia 6-series video card, would that be OK?
