I've just reasently heard about the new KRK KrokII and RokitII. I've listen to the "old" Rokit and my personal opinion is that they had a to loud bass, allthough it was kind of impressing that a speaker of that size could reproduce so much bass. In this specific music store they also had a pair of used KRK 6000, they appeared to have a much more detailed middrange, I got the impression that guitars and other middrange instruments poped out in the mix, atleast compared to the "old" Rokit.
I reasently bought the January issue of Homerecording magazine and in their "AES Report" they had a picture of the new KrokII and RokitII monitors along with a info text about them:
"Improved middrange frequencies", maybe they don't sound as scooped out as the old ones, for 243€ each they seems like nice monitors compared to the KRK 6k price at 546€ each.
One other thing, if you have a pair of monitor that reproduce more middrange frequencies would you get ear fatigue after using them a while, I've heard this is the case with the NS-10.
So, is there anybody here who have any more specific info about these new KRK monitors, or even better, someone who have listen to them and can make a relative comparsions to other monitors, maybe the KRK 6000.
One strange thing is that KRK dosn't post them on their website or maybe they're just slow with updating it.

KRK Systems has introduced the KRok II, featuring an 8" woofer and 1" silk dome tweeter, standard magnetic shilding, 7/8" MDF construction, and double-layer anodized aluminium cones. Carefully molded woofer beauty rings improve midrange frequencies, while advanced dual-port tube designs improve airflow for solid bass response.
