I'm looking forward to the interior pics...can't wait.
Ha. Me too!
I've had so much "raw wood" and other things exposed to the elements lately that I really wanted to get the outside completed and "buttoned up" before reconvening on the inside.
The exerior is completly painted; finished that last weekend.
This weekend saw the beginning of the construction of the patio cover, and I got it framed, decked, and felted. I'll shingle it "in my spare time" during the week.
The four posts that support the patio cover will have brick colums that go up 36" and get capped with natural stone. So... more messy mason's to deal with here this week!
Then the remaining portion of the 4x4 posts will get clad with 1x6 and painted as well as having some cutsie little trim work on them.
Then the underside of the cover will have that stained bead-board.
Then.... (how many times have I said that?) I can start back on the inside. The inside of course, has been a staging area for siding, trim, mortar, metal flashing, OSB decking, lumber... all sorts of crap like that. Now that that's out of the way, I have space in there to stage the interior construction materials.
Of course, I'll have some major clean-up to do outside, some fences need to be redone, and some major landscaping will take place, but all-in-all, I'm pleased with the way its comming out!
