Okay so i have been using cubase SX 2 with my motu 828 version 1 for about 1 year now. I can get some halfway decent home recorded stuff with my MXL 2001's and 603's. But nothing i would brag on or take to the bank. One thing that i have not figured out though, is when i am recording a guitar track and i mess up and i punch in and then i screw up so i punch in again...blah blah blah yada yada. I get this weird poping noise or sometimes just a weird like noise where it seems like my recording is not so seamless, kinda like its been patched together really badly. Does anyone know what is going on here.
