You know I was listening to this in mono by mistake... I thought everything sounded crammed in the middle.

But after listening to it in stereo I think you can turn up the vocals. It's a bit hard to understand, and perhaps to make them more intelligible you can ease up on the distortion a bit as well.

Other than that it sounds good to me! The guitar tone is very sick.
 
i have a bad habit of turning the vocals down and cranking the drums up for some reason.... i'm trying to break myself of that habit... hahahaha but you know, you have a "preconceived notion" of something in your head..... and even if is sounds like shit, you have a hard time trying to convincing yourself differently..... hahahahaha then i smoked some reefers last night...... and it allllllllllll came apparent to me. good call man, i agree..... and thanks for checking it out!!!! <3 i have a new track track i'm working on..... these older guys are gonna HATE it....
 
i got a new secret guitar tone i'm working on too. if you liked the old one, i think you'd like this one. super defined, especially the gallops and palm mutes...... but just like any new recipe, if you told your kid what was in it, they'd hate it before they even tried it...... so i'm keeping it to myself until i test it out on new ears.
 
Dude this is pretty epic, love the rolls. . . Same as sloppy Joe for me, plus it would be awesome to get some more snap on the snare and try a take some of the carboard sound out of it and the Toms. . . .
 
Yeah, I really dug this! Not my usual genre vocalwise, but I found that reading along with the lyrics(which were brilliant!) I could actually understand them...agree that bringing em up in the mix a bit would be cool, also agree about the guitar tone, sounds awesome!
 
Yeah dude this is pretty tight and the words are great.
Probably wanna leave the vocals at least a little buried out of respect for the genre.
