where's yours at dogman?
Not sure I'll do one....I have to put up some Crown moulding tomorrow, and for $32.50 an hour, that pays way better than my guitar work... :D

(I've done a few takes, and it all sucks..... )

Ocnor...Nice man....Great Rock vibe. Nice tone, and the note choice is killer.

I hate all you fuckers that can actually play. I hope someone beats you to death with a 4 month old baby.... :p

(sorry...you know that's not exactly true....but keeping up with current stories................)

Dammit Dog-I didn't know you were such a poet at heart! You sure know all the right things to say to make us feel the Love.... ;)

I'll give it a shot....but not much os a lead player. I likes me the Power Chords.... :D

And screaming.... :p

Travis In Florida, I like your version alot..especially when you play those octave things around 1:00 kinda Wes Montgomeryish ;) nice tone!

Ocnor-Like your tone, nice sustain....nice playing also! good job.

The Firebird Studio has the standard sized humbuckers instead of the mini humbuckers, right? You sure have a nice, bright tone with it, very impressive! I used a very cheap Tele copy with a Dimarzio Chopper-T humbucker in the bridge position into a J-Station. It has a comfortable 'C' shaped neck and an alder body-its a nice workhorse guitar..

Yup, thats the one... really love it!Never been much a fan of the mini-'buckers or the banjo tuners that come on a traditional Firebird...
I like tele's alot also and think I am going to pick one up for my next gear acquisition...

thanks variaxman, i liked yours too. i might try again but spend a little more time on it. i'm not used to soloing over a chord progression that actually changes (i'ma 3 chorder). :D

hey nice rumble dudes!! TIF and antofant? sounds great, who put in teh congas? I think it would be better if it was changed to the higher drum (open tones) on the 4&.

ooh nice touch on the organ.
cool rumble, now add a 2nd part w/ double time. That would make a great tune.

Nice playing all around Variaxman-did you use a PRS model for the sound on you're variax? Theres a definite Santana vibe happening there.
APL sounds good too-what drum machine do you use with all the preprogrammed tune included on it?

Yamaha RY-9.

And thanks to all for the kind words.

I need lessons.

jpw, that was really nice. If I could play guitar, mine would've sounded more like that.

variaxman, nice! Santanaesque for sure.

TIF, lovely, very nice jazzy vibe. I think it had a meloncholy feel.

Hey, ocnor, that's nice, too.

Amazing how all these tones can work.

Throw some guit on this

Ok I set out to put some vocals and lightly destorted guitar to this song... As you'll hear I soon discovered I had a cold :p I was able to punch through the crap at the end though

Anyway now I'm shot and if someone wants to try to put some tasteful guitar to this I l;eft plenty of room at the begining, middle and end.
I did not fade it out cause it all depends on the guitar

If you want to email me an mp3 or something I could mix er up real nice like :o

Sorry for the gayness of the vocals :D  :o I feel all Micheal Bolton

Hey guys, but especially the babes, I haven't heard anybody elses yet, I will do that... but for now I threw together this piece of romantic hotness for the ladies. There's two recorded tracks... one steaming funk guitar, one dead romantic vox/trumpet take. Warning: grows real hot (and I'm sure real embarressing  :D :D ) if you can believe it, this was recorded in only a few minutes, pure emotion
