VST's on iMac... can they work?

Hello

i switched from pc to mac a week ago and i want to transfer my Cubase VST instruments on the iMac...

Would they work?

Sorry about that...wont happen again!...

Will check that link out... i did some research online and it seems that some VST's work and some dont...

I think there are VST wrappers you could use. Do a search for them, also.

For mac the files are different. The VST and VSTi files have a .vst extension on OSX.

So all of those .dll files you had on your PC will not work (there are ways to get them to, but it seemed like a giant pain so I never bothered it involves having windows installed on your mac).

vst's make calls to various parts of OS code.

Windows and Mac code are not the same.

You need Mac vsts on Macs and Windows vsts on Windows...
