vst problems

I'm on Cubase LE, with a Tascam US 122. My inserts work fine but my sends don't work at all. I'm doing strictly audio, no midi. The effects appear in the drop-down menu and they appear to be routed to "master" and there are no other choices. Should this somehow be set to Bus 1? If so, how do I set it up?This is driving me nuts.

How do you have the sends set up? Do you have FX tracks set up to route the sends to?

I read the help manual and it doesn't help me. How do you set up the sends?

Hopefully, this will help. You need to have the effect active in both the "VST Send Effects" and on the individual track. In addition, you need to adjust the amount of the signal to send through the effect via the slider.

Thanks for the diagram. I tried this and still have nothing. I'm monitoring the audio through the rca's in the rear of my us122. Is there a way to make the audio come through my computer speakers? I must not be set up completely right. I really don't need a ton of effects. It just bothers me that they are not coming through.
