vs to computer via presonus v-fire

it dose seem very quite in here perhaps this can spark it up
i would like to know if i can do this
i have 3 vsr rack recorders and a vm3100 pro desk that if connected via R buss to the above unit will allow me to send to computer as wav files,16 tracks at a time
and if i connect the vm 3100 desk to the v-fire unit i should be able to use the desk as an 8 in audio card with 2x effects as inserts in front of the computer
dose anyone know anything about this device and if it will work like this

as far as i know that should work...but check the secs for that.....presonus says anything with a r buss in it should work but who knows, i have a feeling that as soon as people start using this stuff i am sure there will be control problems left and right
 
lets hope so the fact that it remains digital in the transfer to computer has to be good .
i tried to dump via a tascam fs18....something or other unit which was a real pain once the levels were in the computer nothing sounded the same, digital to analogue into the tascam. and out in digital to the computer and then out analogue to the speakers
it all seemed to hard
this v-fire unit sounds a treat
the video presentation from last year trade show seemed to come across as a simple to use product and after all there is not one button or switch in sight just a light to say data is transferring
lets hope it is that simple
