At the moment I'm using a 58 to record vocals, with some Samson CO2s in the background as backup (not been very usefull but thought I'd give it a go anyway)... the 58 (as we all know) only picks up vocals that are close to the diaphram to a decent recording extent, which means I get plenty of "P"s and "S"s in the mix and the singers keep moving around the mic like hell.
So I want a condenser I can hang from my roof, with a pop shield.
My budget is around £100 at the moment - I could stretch to £200 if it ups the quality much more. Any suggestions?
