VF-16 - NO DRIVE / NO DISK Message - Help!

People,

Turned on my Fostex VF-16 today; & received the following message:

NO DRIVE / NO DISK.

The machine is frozen, with the Stop button lit up. I have turned it off and on several times, but to no avail.

Can someone please help with this? Very desperate!

uh oh......

I remember getting this message once with my VF80. I unscrewed the housing to the drive bay and checked the bus cable and how the drive was mounted. The wriggling must have fixed it because I've not had the message since!

You're not the only one who has reported this issue.
