anyway just got back from Van Halen show at phillips arena here in atlanta ...holy cow !!!!!

KICK ASS !

if you havent been to see 'em yet i'd seriously advise it !

Earlier tonight, I was thinking, I didn't see too many concerts back when I could go to concerts, but for some reason, I saw Sammy Hagar solo, Van Halen - original lineup, David Lee Roth solo, and Van Hagar.

I pretty much didn't like any of it. What was I doing? I liked the first few Van Halen albums, but I didn't like 1984, and that was the tour I went to see. I never liked Sammy Hagar in any form, and Van Hagar was just depressing. I (like most guitar players of the day) was/am a huge Steve Vai fan, but why didn't I go see him with Zappa?

Steve is a tool. Who's Steve?

Worked a Van Halen show about a year ago................ kinda funny Dave's big kicks in the air didn't get much higher than over his hip!

Ya it was tough to watch after seeing them 25+ years earlier reminded me of how old I am.
