I don't have much experience with B&H , but Amazon changes price for a short period of time only, especially if it is a huge price drop. Why the cheap price for V67G though? Besides, the microphone in my experience isn't the best for its price, too.
Well, the V67g has endeared itself to a number of us over the years---not your typically overbright Chinese condenser and a nice smokey flavor when you want that. The 9090 is a plain-jane version of the V67i (all the features just no green&gold cosmetics) which is a dual-diaphragm V67, which offers an additional "brighter" option. The thing about the 9090 is that it use to save you ~$100 under the price of a V67i. Apparently, no longer.
