'ello.
I have a Pioneer Spec 2 power amp, from the mid '70s, that I have been using at home for a few years at home to listen to music. I have recently started to think about using it to power my speakers at my studio.
I am not sure if this is a good idea, because this thing sounds so good. It just makes everything sound like "buttah". I mean from shitty pressings of old records to really brittle sounding electronic stuff.
It puts just a nice "gauzy" film on everything.
It is also like 1500w
Should I be thinking about getting just clean power for my speakers?
its also silver and looks really cool.
