Using the headphone jack on a Presonus Firebox...?

I just recently picked up a Presonus Firebox, and it's treating me well so far, but I'm having some trouble with hearing what I'm recording... The scenario is this: When the Firebox is plugged into the wall, but disconnected from the computer (no firewire connection), the heaphone jack works, but when I connect the firewire, the headphone jack stops working... I've checked the firebox mixer, and it seems to be set up fine... so I'm out of ideas... any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!

*edit: I've plugged my headphones into the main out on the back, and it works... so I guess there's no real issue any more... though it'd be nice to know why the headphone jack doesn't give what's going through the unit...

I know you said the mixer is set up fine, but the only time I have known the headphones not to work is when the mix to headphone button is not on or the playback to headphone button is not correctly selected. Or of course if the headphone volume is not turned up on the front of the unit.

Cheers
