Using 2 vs880ex

I have 1 deck that has a lot of songs using all 8 tracks. I came into a second deck that I want to use for mixdown & mastering. Do I use master outputs on deck A to mixdown to tracks 1&2 on deck B, then master to tracks 7&8 -- OR - do I use digital out and sync the decks. Will effects transfer digitally? Plenty confused about configuration and at what point to use EQ, Compression, etc as well as MTK.

You might look over in the vsplanet www.vsplanet.com. In the 880 forum, Crispy described how to sync two machines with midi and using the digital connection... Use the search thing... You'll have 16 tracks then and could use two of them for mixdown...
