Hello out there, Just wanted to say that these forums are really great. I've been reading through them almost every day for a month before I joined up.
As for my question: I just purchased a use Fostex RD8 ADAT. I know this machine is old, but it was fairly cheap, and the guy who owned it says it works just fine. Now, how do I go about testing it to make sure its fine? Should I simply record a while on all the tracks and play back a while? I've seen ADAT cleaners, would these be helpful? Thanks for the help. Hopefully I could return the favor......
