Urei Compressors

I have been looking into learning about Urei compressors. Ive seen alot of different models but i am unsure of the differences and advantages /disadvantages of particular popular ones. So if anyone can give advice or any info about urei compressors id appreciate it.

LA4's are good little units that are really easy to dial in. 1176's are excellent units that offer a wide variety of tonal shaping options, but are a little harder to use. LA2's just sound amazing, but so is their price. LA3's look a lot like LA4's, but sound a little closer to 1176's to me. Good compromise between the two.
