unexpected contacts? WTF do i do with it?

OK - my boy just had this amazingly unexpected experience. he ran into a guy at a barbershop who proclaims to be the manager of a well known group--(i will keep the name secret for now) but i will say -- its not a MAJOR PLATINUM SELLING group but they have respectable sales n quite a following.

now my boy--who is not in any way an emcee, artist, beatmaker . . . just a dude tryin to eat - got to talkin bout me [yes!! little old me] - n the guy gave him a phone number . . . . im sposed to be calling him . . . now this conversating took place yesterday . . .

1) how long do i wait before i call?
2) what would be the "best" questions to ask . . .

Dude all I can say is be confident while your on the phone with him...
And don't expect anything of him right off the bat... if you look hungry they treat you accordingly... if you look like you got your shit together well they treat you accordingly...

I had a similar experience once when i went to meet a big time lawyer down here.

I think I blew it big time but others say I didn't do so bad.
