under the steps vocal/acoustic booth

im trying to make a vocal booth under my steps. it has two walls so it is completly squared off besides one side. does any one have any suggestions i have put up some very thick carpet on the bottom of the steps. i am also gonna use the room for acoustic instruments. please give me some advice...thanks!

for what i know, carpet will just absorb highs and some mids

go to the studio building/display forum and search in the posts, you may find the answer to your question. i tell you this cause i dont know much about the subject

I am also building an iso booth

I'm using mdf panels and triangular foam. I was told mdf is awesome at stopping waves, but I'm no expert and that's all I can say.
