Well, if you have clicked on this, the title explains it all. I am a noob. I have to admit, in the field of recording ect. I have no knowledge whatsoever. In fact, my largest accomplishment within recording has been finding all of the manuals for the audio equipment set up in the house. Mind you, I couldn't tell you all of the technical names and such 
, (I could tell you the thingy with the nob and buttons 
). 
But on another note, my goal is recording myself playing the acoustic guitar and singing. Now, easier said than done at least for me. I am not needing TOP OF THE LINE equipment here, just sort of a little push in the right direction? Any suggestions for Mics/Programs ect. not too pricey. Also if somebody were to be so kind as to sending me a message if they read this, I would take the time to provide what I already have. (I'm not a total idiot by the way, the equipment wasn't mine.
