the breadwinner!!!!

LPIC0033.jpg

I had one of those in snow-white.
Not only was it ugly ...... it sounded like shit!

If I recall it right-wasn't the body a composite plastic like the other Ovations?
At the time I never bothered to open it up and check BUT:
The surface was, now that you mention it, a strange pebbly sort of finish like what you would see on some sort of fibreboard or plastic material so it very well may have been.

I wish somebody would revitalize this post with some fresh visuals

Its not the prizewinner here...but I had this one when I was 13...I wish I still had it...guys online are selling them for $4000

I like pearl as much as the next guy, but some of these Schecters look like a giant oyster jizzed all over them:

That fretboard inlay is a bit overdone, isn't it? :D

Id buy it...is it acryllic?

Yea it's acrylic, what the hell would you want that for? I had a go and to be honest you would get better tone screwin the pickups to a coffee table and hitting them with an ashtray.

I might want to play in the nude onstage and an acrylic guitar will magnify my naughty bits...you know...for the ladies.

I've heard that the old Dan Armstrong acrylic guitars - and their recent reissue - sounded like shit, too. Tone like......well, no tone.
