I have a MOTU ultralite interface right now and was thinking about getting a pre amp to improve the sound. Would something like this Buy Universal Audio 710 Twin-Finity Single Channel Tube and Solid State Mic Preamp and DI | Microphone Preamps | Musician's Friend , or something different in same price range (suggestions?), make any improvement? Also how would I go about connecting the preamp into the ultralite? I have a Shure KSM32 mic and doing all types of music but mostly hip hop.
