U22S / U42S / U82S - anyone else using this?

Anyone else got one of these yet? I'm having a few minor issues with mine. I'm using Sonar 6 PE with mine. I have a delay/hesitation when I first press play and when I first press record on a project. It also stops playing for a second here and there when mixing. Overall it works okay but these little stop/starts are annoying.....
 
I'm using the U42S. I don't have the same problem when I hit record/play. However, occasionally when I am recording a track at some point it will stutter which will spoil that recording. This seems to be rare though and usually only when I am on my 3rd or 4th overub, which would suggest that computer power is the issue.

I recently updated my Vista to the latest service pack and downloaded the latest drivers for all my hardware e.g. processor, memory etc and I don't think I've had the problem since - so you could try that.

Edit - forgot to mention that I'm using Cubase or Reaper so if the computer power / drivers isn't the issue then it might be the software.
