oh, yeah...Floyd Rose,

Floyd Rose=Arrrrrgggggh!

I have a 7 seven string with a Floyd on it that I don't use very much. I lent it to a friend while I moved house. It was in B standard when I gave it to him. When I got it back he'd tuned it to E standard.

It took me 5 damn hours to retune and rebalance it.

Funny thing is I'm not pissed at him at all. I'm pissed at the goddamn Floyd!

The guy at guitar center tried to get me to buy a Jackson with a similar look and sound. But no, I didn't want that. There were other Ibanez guitars too. But no, not those. I bought the one with the Floyd Rose.

Later after two hours of tuning, it was in good tuning and then I realized it's action was a little high. Turns out the Floyd was raised. It takes lot of time and skill to balance the rose and tune the dang stings and as soon as you lock the neck the strings start acting all funny. .
