This is one of my first attempts at recording (1999). I used a Roland vg-8, Roland gr-30 (for horns) and a BOSS DR-5 drum machine. Like I said - one of my first attempts - hence the bad mix. I think you will enjoy it though.

I enjoyed the buildup to the final chorus. I kinda missed the song's melody, but I guess that kinda wasn't the point.

Good performance. You're really an excellent guitarist.

Lots of shades of Santana in the first verse. Cool.

My criticism is the change in guitar tone at 1:45. I'm not sure if that was intentional, to create a "dueling guitars" effect, but since the tone never goes back to the original, it sounds like a pretty jolting punch-in.

Fun stuff. Sounded great through my laptop speakers (so take that for what it's worth). Good job with the horns. The GR-30 made it sound better than programmed MIDI. I gotta get one of those one of these days.


If that was still the DS-1, it sounded better on this tune.
