Tune my room!!!!

I was checking out a cool article in Electronic Musician about tuning your room. It basically requires a Stereo/Dual parametric eq, a sine wav generator and a special mic.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction on finding a pro to come and do this for me? How many of you eq the signal going to your monitors to compensate for the room? Is this a good idea?

If I post a few pictures of my studio can I get some reccomendations?

Good thing you can purchase some eqs that are consumer grade that have the spectrum analyser in them and the pink noise generator. Use your Mic for the measurement (this does make sense).

Dont adjust the eq from flat though, Treat the room , If you have a hump in the bass put bass traps in the corners high frequencies can be sqashed by treating spots with foam and puting diffusers on one of the walls to reduce standing waves.
