one of my favorite guitar 'amps' is my ACMP-73 from the group buy a few years back. In fact, it's my favorite clean sounding [pre]amp ever- way out in front, to tell the truth. But the only way I can really play it is by running the ACMP-73 into my interface/daw and listening through my studio monitors.
I keep thinking about running it into a proper power amp and speaker cab, and more specifically, through an EL34 based tube amp and into a 16 ohm 4x12 cab.
Any recommendations? It would need to take line level in, preferably be rack mountable, and push a 4x12. Would I have to build something like this (or have it built)?
