Hello all...

I would have searched for this, but the search function is a little funky right now (I can search title-only, but nothing else, and I don't seem to be getting the results I need)

I bought a Rode K2 recently, and while I like the sound a lot, I seem to recall having read a few times about people swapping out the valve to improve the sound. It looks like the K2 has a 6922 in it... just curious how others have made out with replacing the valves in their tube mics (K2 or not, although K2 examples would be great :)

Thanks a lot! I think I've already found some ebay sales and some tube places online with some decent prices on vintage tubes as well as some new Telefunken's, etc. I'll have to sit down later and weigh my options :)
