Trouble getting XP networked to HD24

I'm having trouble getting my network setup for transferring data. I have followed the instuctions in the manual, and gone through the info on the Alesis web site.

Has anybody else had trouble connecting the two?

No problem here. There's been a lot of discussion of this lately on the main HD24 group on Yahoo.

dont use internet explorer

they have issues with it. Use "FTP surfer". Go to www.download.com I think its called and get it there. Its freeware. It works great. Very slow mind you. Fireport is the way, or Motu 2408.

Do you have a crossover cable? Also, you must disable your regular internet connection when transfering files via crossover cable and setup new connection enabled.
