I am trying to find the cheapest way to record from my old Triton Workstation/Sampler this is the version before the CD burner was added. I have tried to record into Roxio Sound Recorder on my computer but it is alot of feedback. Is there a way for me to make a CD without spending alot of money?

Read the guides....

If your triton has outputs..then just connect it into your soundcard's line. If u want to go fancy, then invest into for a mixer for multiple ins and outs. After that consider getting an audio interface for your DAW.

THe best thing to do is get a sound card. Not a cheap one but something decent. Check out the M-Audio 2496 real nice sound card. Once you get that then on the back of your Triton should be a output that has L and R take cables 1/4 to the LINE IN on your soundcard. Depending if u get the PCI version 2496 then you will need 1/4 to RCA Cables. If you get the USB version then you will need 1/4 to 1/4. If you decide to stick with your onboad soundcard then 1/4 to 1/8.

When you do record with the soundcard you have now make sure the input recording level isnt peaking(up high).

Then you should be able to record.

Hope that helps.
