first of all, i´m not use to write or speak in english but i hope you´ll understand
I record and edit in cubase 2.2 something and I´ve understood that you can trig midi with a audio track, for example a sampled kickdrum kicking in instead of the analog recorded kickdrum. And there should be a way not only to replace the trigging audio into a sample or midi, but also mix theese two sounds (recorded trigging audio track AND the sample-track) ANYONE that know how to do this?
I´ve also heard/read/picked up somewhere that you can "cut" one audio track also using some kind of triggervalue... for example muting the bassgutiartrack with the attack from the kickdrum-track (the attack of kick mutes the bassguitar for a moment) to make an illusion of tight play and it should work out pretty well, so i´ve heard...
I think both my concerns could be pretty useful, and maybe you´ll help alot of us don´t know "the magic" yet if you have a clue... please write!
thanx / samuel the swede
