Heres what I want to do...
My friends are doing a project in Cubase VST32 on a Mac.
I have ProTools LE(digi-001) on a PC.
Anyway, thru some unforeseen events they are going to lose the use of their computer soon. I want to know if I can just put all of their individual sound files in a audio folder and transfer them to my PTLE and then just reassemble them. Remember they have a MAC and I have a PC.
Thanks guys

Hey comeon guys no one knows the answer to this one??I really need to know...

you need to put all of the .wav files of your VST32 project on a CD-R,but remember "DATA CD"..so burn 'em as data...then you simply import all of the .wav files from that CD-R into protools....You will however have problems lining them up and syncing them in protools, but thats why you should do the following:

On each track in your cubase project, record a bit of silenece at the start (from 1.1.1.000) and join those bits of silence with the rest of each track......now when you've done that , all of your tracks (should) start from the same position...now it should be easy to import and line them up in protools...
I hope it's clear enough for you...let us know what you've done

No difference MAC or PC...all .wav files are the same

cheers
