I have a couple of things on my wishlist and a few other things I'd be willing to part with for them . . .
I am currently seeking two things:
* A good kickdrum mic. Prefereably of the AT 25 variety. Will consider others.
* An extra mxl 603 to match with the one I already own.
I have:
* An extra mxl v67M new and untouched in it's box. I originally thought I wanted to use for stereo micing with my other one. Decided I'd rather have a stereo pair of the 603's instead.
* An M-audio DMP2 Preamp, dual-channel (the precursor to the dmp3). About a year old - perfect cond. Best deal in preamps, period. I just got myself a mindprint, and it has a/d conversion on it, so I'm finding myself using it a bit more for that reason. Nothing beats the dmp2 though, in terms of strict preamplification for under $1,000, except for maybe the Grace Design @ $600.
Would gladly trade either for a good kickdrum mic . . . or if you have an extra 603 lying around, I'll trade it straight-up for the v67.
