total newb needs help with Korg MicroKontrol and FT

I recently purchased a Korg MicroKontrol and FT. Now I KNOW that by hooking up the Korg to my computer via usb, I can change the tones...but I just can't get the damn thing to do it. Can someone please help me, I know its got to be VERY elementary but I am at a loss!
