time strecching or elastic time?

is Logic´s time stretching as good as pro tool´s elastic time feature?
 
you might want to ask this at gearslutz or PSW...i have a feeling that not a lot of people on here have used both logic 8 and PT 7.4
 
it's not as convenient, but it sounds just as good. The best out there for that kind of manipulation is Melodyne tho.
