Piece of shit dynamic mic some people are inexplicably crazy about, so we bought one. Sounds equivalently good on everything from snare drum to electric guitar. Unfortunately, not a very high standard of "Good." If you need to record something and there's no microphone available, this will do, I guess.

Hypercardioid dynamic mic, can handle very high SPL. Useful for snare drum, freak high-SPL situations where you still need good midrange clarity. If the SM57 were a microphone, it would sound like this.

Steve is always good for a joke, though I agree with him on this one.

love the discription...shit on everything

no sign of his room treatment anywhere

All the people that liked me posting this, give me some rep. Someone with a lot of rep gave me bad rep on my initial post, knocking me down from a 16 to a 15.

I have not been around much but I have always liked your honesty and sense of humor so I gave ya some (strictly hetero) love.

That sucks some one would dis ya for posting something funny...of crap now there are going to dis me too. Oh well I still standing with and bookmarked the page to boot!

Just for tracking purposes I'm only at a 5 so I can't afford too many hits.

High quality dynamic vocal mic. Windscreen removes for extra orwellian futurism.

Guys, don't worry about that rep stuff. It's stupid anyway. If you need some extra rep points or something, just go to one of those rep point threads and you'll walk out with 100 extra points just like noise dude. :D Just do a search for "rep point thread."

BTW, you can have discussion with Steve on his own forum and you can also find him at PSW, great discussions there.

I absolutely refuse to visit a "rep point thread"!!! I miss the days when rep actually meant something! :(

The whole "rep point thread" thing all started right after I signed up, back when a 7 was high. Now it means nothing!

You're gonna be sorry when St. Peter asks you how many rep points you have.

I'm working on recreating Albini's studio right in my bedroom.

So far I have the SM-58 and the Microverb. :D
