Ok first off I am a musician (a rapper if u dont think thats music lol) and like all of us started, I my self is at an early age of 19 with no money. So how did I promote my music, well this is what I did. My mom had a old computer (AMD k6 350) and lots of linux distrobutions will tell you their product or freebie works on older system, but guess what! a lot of them dont work without tweaking with the installs, so I downloaded slax, a bootable linux distrobution that can install on a hard drive. I installed that on the k6 with a 4 gig hard drive, and loaded up my music files on there. I ran a quick web server with apache all in the bash shell. First I served with the apache module and hosted a website, and then I actually loaded azureus on my box and hosted my files on bit torrent, and then I posted them on torrent sites. All I can say is it was a success, lots of people all over the world downloaded a whole rar file of my music, and I got lots of positive feedback aswell. I just think its something I would like to share, it was a fun project and fairly easy!

He took an old computer, fucked with it, and uploaded his music via a torrent. Nothing too special. You can get the same effect using soundclick or one of the million other mp3 hosting sites.

Not really, after the expirement with the bit torrent, i can now actually find my songs on limewire, which I think is neat. If im away somewhere I can alwayse search and download what I like to hear1

where and/or how did you upload them to bittorrent? what site did you use?
