I get page not found for the 1st link - sorry.
The tinyurl link is odd to navigate.
Nice intro - good funk metal sound. Bass sits nicely and the guitars aren't overdone.
This is good work mate, possibly too brief but that's because you left me wanting more which is the right thing to do.
Well Done. I hope the payment is meant in a Karma sense rather than revenge!

Sounds great. Sounds like Primus meets Jane's Addiction. Cool vibe and feel to it. I also think it was maybe a tad too short. I could stand to hear another up-tempo verse/chorus or something. Bass sounds fantastic. Everything sounds right in the mix. Great job. :)

thanks man....
funk metal...
you know, i'd never label my stuff as anything like 'metal', but you're not the only one to have said that on occassion....
i think of it as nothin more than 'rock and roll' style, which i guess, sounds kind of generic.
metal guys, would roll their eyes if i called this metal...
(i have some hard core metal friends, who get off on being 'true to their school') LOL

and yes, the karma kind, not the disembowelment of your enemy kind!!
:D

greg L
Primus and Jane's, both regulars in my rotation....
good bands.

tad too short eh?!
LOL
yeah, seems, when it comes to songs, i'm trying to get them shorter and shorter these days...
with the rampant ADHD running thru rock music fans these days....
;)
i have much longer instrumentals i write, that i guess covers the more 'artsy-fartsy' side, so to me, trying to perfect a short and sweet tune is what i'm dialing in..

besides, all the riffs i save back from having a shorter song, means more riffs for more songs...!!
hehehe
thanks for listening....

I have no problem with short songs. Hell, the Ramones are my favorite band. I just think one more verse or something would work on this one. :)

thanks Greg L....
the ramones definitely had the 'short and sweet' dialed in!!
:D

you know, it's wierd, but the very first time i did an arrangement for this song, it was even shorter.

for some reason, it always struck me that this thing should be short as shit..

even tho, it'd be easy to milk the riff a dozen different ways, and double the time of this thing.....

I don't know that you need to "double" it. I'm just thinking it should end more up tempo like it begins. Maybe after the slow breakdown in the middle go back into the faster "you will pay" part. But I don't know. I can't write my own songs, so I'm probably not the best judge of this sort of thing. :o
