The Twelve Days of X-Mosh

P.S. - This song is supposedly going to get airplay this Sunday between 10pm and midnight on WBCN, one of the top rock stations in the area. :)

Very tight. Nicely played. Great sounds for all instruments.

Seriously, my only suggstion would be to change it up a bit. The first twenty seconds I thought "Man, this is awesome" However, everyone knows it's a repetitive song yet it's played the exact same way the whole way through, I'd never make it past five golden rings again.

Like you're going to change it now... :D Maybe if it's played live you may consider it.

Second only to T.S.O.!!!

I have to agree on the repetitive nature. But as said very good performance. This sounds like something M.O.D. or GWAR would do. Cool, you got any non christmas stuff that you can post? Keep the mosh-music coming. Good Job!

I like it! Because of the theme, it sort of comes across as a bit of joke/parody - hoping that's the intention.

It's very entertaining!! And as previously discussed - tight playing.

Well,Silent night it's not.
My kids(4 and 6) are listening along with me and think it's pretty cool. This will get some play around the house for Christmas.
Good job!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Glad you're all enjoying the song!

...and thanks for all the feedback.

Yes, the song is repetitive. However, jeffoest had it right... this song is a bit of a joke/parody of the original. Take one part classic Christmas song, stir in speed/death metal, bake in your favorite mixing software, and... a fun Christmas treat for all! On the plus side, the speed of this version keeps it relatively short... under 4 minutes!

As far as live performance goes, this is a classic audience sing-along, don't you think? ;)

Thanks! Glad you liked the song. There are three other songs posted, streaming only, on the Nowhere Radio site, but none of them are as hard and heavy as TTDOXM. The song names are "Mistress Carrie Theme Song" (Singles), "Apropos" and "Understand" (ep1). They were mixed a while back, so the production isn't quite as tight, but feel free to check them out.

GWAR rules! Hadn't heard of M.O.D... Oh, and what is "T.S.O."?

Love the tag line... long live metal!!!!!

You hit the nail on the head. It is a bit of a joke/parody. Whether or not the listener is into speed/death metal, they should get a kick out of the delivery. And, if the listener is into speed/death metal, they should appreciate the music style as well. :)

Glad you enjoyed the song!
