Do I get to vote? I ask because I would only vote IF it were a blind test.

In my mind that would be the only fair way of testing the outcome.

Hey, I admit my post was a bit harsh, but what the hell? This whole situation is what you guys invited, isn't it? Point being.....rather than continuing to bash each other to death....just do it as a blind test and let the best man win.

If there's one thing I can admit to myself, it IS the fact that although I may be able to play I am willing to admit that I can't mix well enough to save my ass. I leave it to someone else whose ears I can trust and I also learn in the process.

Both of you say...."I'm the best".

Prove it.

Let the ears here decide..........blindly.

Ok, if it stays cordial and "professional", I'll stay on board... But I just want to see the results, and keep the trash talking to a minimum. Let the tracks tell the tale...

It may seem strange, but I work in a studio with a full blown ProTools HD rig and have a HD24xr and Allen & Heath mixer at home that I sometimes use.

Taking people to the studio makes more money for me; at other times it doesn't make sense to take a 'small potatoes' customer to the studio. The studio is 50/hour, whereas I only charge about 20/hour for my home setup.

Remember: I don't get 100% of the fee at the studio. Depends on the project and what I quote them since I can negotiate the rate.

There have been times where things got recorded at the studio and mixed at home, and so on.

Whatever fits the client's budget and needs.

I've remained pretty cordial, all things considered.

I find it funny that Siefer started all of this with his bad attitude and mouth, and someone finally calls him out on it and now *I'M* the bad guy?

I guess we all played into his hands. :)

My mix is going up next Monday whether or not Siefer agrees to participate. While I'm at it I'm going to dig up some other things I tracked over the last year to establish some sort of track record with everyone on the board.

You don't need to prove yourself as far as I'm concerned. I always think of everyone on here as being better than me and having better gear and I try to learn what I can to get better. If someone wants to tell everybody how good he is than so be it. I personally would not. When I first started hanging around here I thought some of your posts came off a little abrasive but I've gotten used to you. :D You are OK in my book I just think you could stand to be a little more diplomatic.

And on a side note. Still no The Seifer. :confused:

Hey children, Seifer is here.

It seems that Bruce Valerifatoldasshole or one of the sheep in his herd had my old account banned, probably so I would lose. They seem to be obsessed with trying to discredit me because they feel threatened by me. Also, I'm getting kind of confused by a lot of the almost ridiculous statements in this thread. Clonebitch and a few others such as GARRY SHAPRRE (too stupid to figure out drumkit from hell, you might remember him) keep making comments about how I "ain't gonna play" or how I am a no show even though I have clearly stated in this very thread more than once that I am in the contest going to put in my song next week 100% going to do it. Did you get it that time?

I'm glad a few people that don't have their heads up their asses can see Cloneboy for what he really is and have decided not to latch onto his or Bruce's nuts. I'm sure there are others that can see through his circus worthy behavior (just count the number of redundant posts he has made in just this thread so far), but they better not speak up or else they will be accused of being my TOP SECRET ALTERNATE ACCOUNTS.

this is stupid, i'm not going to post again until the songs are up.
