Looks like you're doin this the right way too. Takin care of the bass trapping first. I wish I'd have done that when I was setting up my room.... the first 2 times.

You can kinda see it behind the big desk, left side. It's the Live After Death pic, but it has 'Iron Maiden' in red lettering. Can't find anything exactly like it with a GIS. Havent done much else in there in the last few days, still a big mess..

Got a lot done this weekend! Got fabric on the wedges, the front anyway... It doesnt go ALL the way around the wedge, but the only exposed sections are up against the wall anyway. 8' floor to ceiling superchunks, they're in there doing their job now regardless! Hung all the good auralex I have on the ceiling under the vent areas. They were kinda difficult to hold up while the adhesive dried, so I wedged a board up there. (work smarter not harder! 
) I have another section I want to do, but I'll need more to finish the other side. Not a priority.. I'll probably make a couple more rectangles for the back eventually. I'm listening to stuff in the mix position and I'm happy with the sound so far. I also put in the sub, it has a bypass switch on it, I have a pedal under the desk to turn it on/off.
I found a home for my IM flag woohoo! In the guitar station, AND I got my packers bandana in there for ya Acid! Got my pirates up on the entrance door Did a little decor, need to do more. Now it just needs lights and a good cleanup, it's getting there!

No new pics to show ,of the room anyway, it all looks the same - I've been hooking everything up. I did get an epi SG, (still no jcm800 db ) 'limited edition custom shop' - not sure what that means yet. Plays reeeeeeall nice tho! I had en epi LP and wasnt blown away by it. THIS is a nice guitar!

Umm yeah, I DO have a lava lamp, 2 of em actually! A reddish / magenta one goes between my computer screens, it's there now. I'll need an updated pic. I have a blue one that is not out yet, it'll end up over in guitar world somewhere I think. I did some other lights and noticed that the 'red' lights look really orange now, I dont like em any more... I have one red light that's a deeper red, it looks red. Gotta figure out what bulbs those are and get some more. I have green and blue light bulbs in the recessed lights in the ceiling. Looks cool but it's not very bright. Need to figure something out.

I was thinkin of ya yesterday as I was re-hanging my acoustic cloud. Remember you flippin me shit about using YARN to hang my panels from the ceiling?
Well I had my bass just a thumpin, watching the drum sticks bounce, rattling shit off the walls and I look up to see 2 of my panels fall.
And it wasn't the yarn that broke.... The eyelets came free of the panels.
(just wanted to use that thumbs smiley )
So I was re-hangin and thought of you pal.

My studio's in my garage. Took me almost 10 years to save for it, blew the money, then did a re-mortgage and got my garage.

I just finished another superchunk - slow progress lately but at least its something.. It's a 12x12 right triangle with a 17" face, 4 feet long. I stuffed it with about 7' of roxul so it's density is probably around 4 lb/cf. Made with scraps from arcadeko's and my other traps. I have 2 potential places to put it - on the front wall where I already have quite a bit of treatment, against the ceiling. Or on the back wall / ceiling, where I have nothing on the entire wall.. I'm leaning towards the back wall since there's nothing else there.
Besides that I got a lot of stuff hooked up and working - everything into my interface, the drums / midi, etc.
