I am currently a' cappella-and want to record my songs. I get so lost reading about all the options. Is it possible to get a good recording through the comp-i have a pc.

If so, what do I use? program and mic?

most music today is recorded through a computer.

anyways, yes you can get good recordings depending on how much of a budget you have and how much know how.

Your going to need to give us a lot more specifics like what is your budget, what are you going to be recording, how many inputs are you going to need, etc.

Since your new to this you might try something a little more simple and see if you like recording. Something like this perhaps.

What kind of budget we talkin here?

You can get REAPER for free for PC, which will be more than adequate, and then we can talk what would work for a mic and interface to computer.
